Temecula Wedding Planner
Winery weddings in Southern California wine country
Temecula wine country gives you rolling vineyards, sunsets over the hills and venues that feel like a trip to Tuscany without the flight. It's also hot, busy on weekends, and full of winery rules that are easy to miss until it's too late. As a Temecula wedding planner based in Southern California, Cici helps couples pick the right winery and plan a day that works with the heat instead of against it. A Temecula winery wedding comes with a lot of moving parts. Many venues have preferred vendor lists, outdoor music cutoffs and strict end times. Wineries are spread along Rancho California Road, so getting guests to and from the venue safely takes real planning. And the weather can swing from triple digits in August to chilly nights in the fall. From intimate vineyard ceremonies to receptions for a few hundred guests, we'll handle the timeline, vendors and guest logistics so you can relax and enjoy the view. You bring the vision, and we'll take care of the rest.

Planning a Wedding in Temecula
Temecula is made for weddings, but wine country has its own rules. Here's what we tell every couple before they book.
Best time of year: September through November is peak, with harvest colors and cooler evenings. April and May are a close second, with green vines and mild temperatures. Heat: Temecula regularly tops 100 degrees in August. For summer dates, plan an evening ceremony, shade and plenty of water for guests. Cool nights: From late fall through early spring, evenings cool off fast. Have heaters or an indoor backup ready. Music curfews: Most wineries have an outdoor music cutoff around 10pm. Check your venue's rules before planning the reception timeline. Getting there: Temecula is about an hour from San Diego and an hour to an hour and a half from Los Angeles and Orange County. San Diego and Ontario are the closest major airports. Shuttles: Wineries are spread out along Rancho California Road. Book a shuttle so no one is driving home after the reception. Where guests stay: Ponte Vineyard Inn, Carter Estate and South Coast Winery Resort have rooms on site. Old Town Temecula and nearby hotels are more affordable.
