Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8/7/26

‍ ‍

Love in Bloom Events ("Love in Bloom," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

‍ ‍

It covers two groups of people: visitors to loveinbloomevents.com (the "Site"), and clients who hire us to coordinate an event.

‍ ‍

Information We Collect

‍ ‍

From visitors to this website

‍ ‍

Information you give us. When you submit our inquiry form, we collect what you choose to enter, which typically includes your name, email address, phone number, event date, venue or location, and anything you write in the message field.

‍ ‍

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this Site records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, the pages you view, and how long you spend on them. This happens through Squarespace Analytics and Google Analytics.

‍ ‍

From clients

‍ ‍

If you hire us, we collect additional information as needed to plan and run your event:

‍ ‍

  • Contact and billing details for you and anyone you designate

  • Event details including date, venue, timeline, budget parameters, and vendor selections

  • Contact information for your vendors, venue, and wedding party

  • Guest information you provide to us, which may include names, contact details, seating and table assignments, dietary restrictions, and accessibility needs

  • Photographs and video from your event

  • Correspondence between us

‍ ‍

About guest information: when you share your guest list or details about your guests with us, you confirm you have the right to do so. We use guest information only to plan and run your event, we share it only with the vendors who need it, and we do not add your guests to any marketing list.

‍ ‍

Dietary restrictions and accessibility needs are shared only with the vendors who must accommodate them, such as your caterer or venue.

‍ ‍

How We Use Information

‍ ‍

We use the information described above to:

‍ ‍

  • Respond to inquiries and discuss availability

  • Prepare proposals and services agreements

  • Plan, coordinate, and run your event

  • Communicate with your vendors and venue on your behalf

  • Send invoices and process payments

  • Maintain our records, including for tax and accounting purposes

  • Improve the Site and understand how visitors use it

  • Display our work in our portfolio, website, and social media, subject to the media permissions in your signed agreement

  • Comply with legal obligations

‍ ‍

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

‍ ‍

Cookies and Tracking

‍ ‍

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device.

‍ ‍

Essential cookies are used by Squarespace to keep the Site working, remember your cookie preferences, and protect against abuse. These cannot be turned off without breaking parts of the Site.

‍ ‍

Analytics cookies are used by Squarespace Analytics and Google Analytics to understand traffic patterns: which pages get visited, where visitors come from, and which devices they use. This data is used in aggregate. We do not use it to identify you individually.

‍ ‍

Managing your preferences. A cookie banner appears when you first visit the Site. You can change your choices at any time using the cookie preferences link on the Site, or by adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Google also offers a browser opt-out add-on for Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

‍ ‍

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry-standard response to that signal, and this Site does not currently respond to it.

‍ ‍

Who We Share Information With

‍ ‍

We share information only where it is necessary. Specifically:

‍ ‍

Vendors and venues. Coordinating your event means sharing relevant details with your photographer, videographer, caterer, florist, venue, rental company, officiant, and other vendors. We share only what each vendor needs to do their job.

‍ ‍

Service providers we rely on. These include:

‍ ‍

  • Squarespace, which hosts this Site, stores our form submissions, and provides site analytics

  • Google Analytics, which provides website traffic reporting

  • Square, which processes credit and debit card payments

  • Zelle and Venmo, if you choose to pay by transfer

  • Our email provider, accountant, and any other professional advisors

‍ ‍

Payment card details are handled by Square. We do not receive or store your full card number.

‍ ‍

Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or subpoena, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.

‍ ‍

We never sell your information to data brokers, advertisers, or anyone else.

‍ ‍

Photographs and Media

‍ ‍

We photograph our events, and we work with the photographers and videographers our clients hire. Use of that media for our portfolio, website, social media, and advertising is governed by the media release in your signed services agreement, not by this policy.

‍ ‍

If you have questions about how images from your event are used, or wish to request that a specific image be removed, email us at loveinbloomeventplanning@gmail.com and we will work with you.

‍ ‍

How Long We Keep Information

‍ ‍

  • Inquiries that don't become bookings: forever in case you come back to us

  • Client records: for the duration of your engagement and afterward as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, generally at least seven years for financial records

  • Event photographs: retained indefinitely for portfolio purposes, subject to your media release

  • Analytics data: retained according to Squarespace and Google Analytics settings

‍ ‍

Security

‍ ‍

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using reputable platforms with their own security controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

‍ ‍

Please do not send payment card numbers, bank account details, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information through our inquiry form or by unencrypted email.

‍ ‍

Your Choices and Rights

‍ ‍

You can:

‍ ‍

  • Ask what we have. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

  • Correct it. Ask us to fix anything inaccurate.

  • Ask us to delete it. We will honor deletion requests except where we are required to keep records for tax, accounting, or legal reasons.

  • Opt out of marketing. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us directly. We will still send you messages necessary to coordinate a booked event.

‍ ‍

To make a request, email loveinbloomeventplanning@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

‍ ‍

California residents have additional rights under state privacy law that apply to businesses meeting certain size thresholds. We honor the requests above regardless of whether those thresholds apply to us.

‍ ‍

Children

‍ ‍

Our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 16 through this Site.

‍ ‍

Guest lists provided by our clients may include the names of minors attending an event. That information comes to us from the client, is used only for event planning, and is not used for marketing.

‍ ‍

Links to Other Sites

‍ ‍

The Site links to third-party websites and social media platforms. This policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any site you visit.

‍ ‍

Changes to This Policy

‍ ‍

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
